Georgia, the way from Mestia to Sighnaghi

I decided to take Linda's offer to join them for their ride from Mestia to Tbilisi. Two Dutch girls also joined us, making us 6 people: Linda, Alex, Kakha, the two Dutch girls, and myself. Being a tour guide and knowing Georgia really well, Linda knows exactly how to go and where to stop on such a long way. It was a very good decision to join them. Not only her expertise and vast knowledge of local culture and history were useful, but also the super comfortable car, Kakha was driving.

On the way to Tbilisi we visited:

Some cows, which are always meandering on the roads of Georgia:

A nice waterfall/river:

The Enguri reservoir:

Another nice waterfall:

The Didiani Castle park in Zugdidi

The Nokalakevi Archeological Park:

Late at night, I checked into one of the least memorable hotels in Tbilisi, but just for a couple of hours, because in the morning I already went off and took the marshrutka to Sighnaghi. This is what a marshrutka looks like from the inside:

Early afternoon I arrived at Lia's Guesthouse in Sighnaghi, in the Kaheti province.
