Georgia, the way to Stepansminda with Linda, Kakha and Hatuna

This is the time to mention Linda and Kakha's company. They organize tours in Georgia for tourists. Linda speaks fluent Russian, Hungarian and English and Kakha speaks Georgian as well as Russian.
They know Georgia really well and know how to organize tours for small and mid-size groups. I met them in Mestia and joined them for a couple of rides. One was a day trip to Ushguli, then we went all the way to Tbilisi stopping in places which I would never be able to find on my own. For the third time, I joined them for the way from Tbilisi to Kazbegi (Stepansminda).
It was worth it very much!
We stopped in several places on the way - places a marshrutka would just skip.

Hatuna and Linda at the Zhinvali reservoir:

Stop at Ananuri.

The white and the black rivers flow together:

An excellent viewpoint to the valleys of the Caucasus. The Peace Monument at Gudauri.

This is weird. What you see are sulphur waters. It's near Jvari Pass (Krestovy Peveral). The water is rich in calcium and iron. This red stone is basically rust.

Kazbegi - The Gergeti Church with Mount Kazbeg in the background.

A church at the Russian border. This is the only border crossing point between the two countries.

These adorable ducks were waiting for me at Mari's guesthouse in Stepansminda. Aren't they cute?
