Loire - day 3

This was a really busy day with five castles!

Loire - day 2

The Loire Valley is famous for its chateaux. So I decided to see as many as I can.
The first day I drove to the east.

Chambord:
The largest château in the Loire Valley, built in a renaissance style.

Cheverny:
Beautiful chateau, with around 70 hunting dogs, which are taken to hunt twice a week. I've found a short video on how they eat:

Some shots on the castle:

Blois:
An ancient town which also served as the base of operations of Joan of Arc.

Paris - Loire

The next day Alex departed very early in the morning. In the morning hours I took a nice walk in Rue Saint German and Boulevard Saint Michelle. At noon I took the train from Gare d'Austerlitz to Orleans, a city located in the Loire Valley. There I rented a car and drove over to Amboise.

In the afternoon I toured all around the town.

I hope Leonardo da Vinci ate all these stuff before he died here in Amboise in 1519.
