Smartno, Dobrovo and the Tolmin gorge

The day after we were driving alongside the Isonzo River, trying to cross it to the west bank of it, which was not an easy task to do without entering Italy. But we managed it, despite all road works and closed bridges. We ended up in two villages: Smartno and Dobrovo with a Tuscan-like landscape around them.

Driving up more to the north, took us to the beautiful Tolmin Gorge, just at the south entrance of the Triglav National Park.
