We made it to Kobe
After a short connection in Helsinki airport we made it finally to Japan. Since Finnair avoinds Russian airspace it made quite a detour, we ended up flying almost 13 hours. Lucily the flight was uneventful and we sat in a quiet area.
There are several ways to go to or leave an aiport. Of course people do this with car, train or bus. Once we walked to an airport in Ouarzazat, Morocco and another time I took a motorbike (as passenger) in Can Tho Vietnam. This time the shortes way to got from Osaka airport to Kobe was to take a ferry crossing the Osaka bay. The ferry actually connects Osaka airport with the much smaller Kobe airport (both built on artificial islands).
Home -> U-bahn -> Train -> Aircraft -> Aircraft -> Bus -> Ferry -> Bus -> Train -> Hotel.
Bus announcement: "Please mind your rolling cases. Rolling cases can be dangerous. Please don't forget your hand.".
View from Kobe hotel window:
Okonomiyaki. This place existed 25 years ago as Jeruen lived here in his childhood. Fantastic tastes.
Yoghurt. Yoghurt?
