The A-bomb Dome and the Peace Memorial

The A-bomb Dome is the testimony of the most horrible events in Japan's history. The bomb exploded above this building killing in total 140000 people until the end of 1945. The museum and the peace memorial are also frequented by western tourists. The museum displays the most devastating pictures and stories of what happened the day the bomb was dropped and the period after. It was very crowded and depressing of course, so we didn't linger loo long.
